Parishes and deaneries are invited to apply for a grant from the Mission Support Fund to help get mission initiaitves up and running.

The Mission Support Fund Assessment Committee meets three times a year.  Applications should be submitted by the end of January, May or September each year.

Please note

  • Applicants will need to demonstrate that they have used their own resources.
  • Grants will be:
    - for no more than 50% of the total costs
    - up to a maximum of £15,000 in any year
    - for a maximum of three years in the first instance and, subject to review, for a total of five years.
  • Each application should:
    - Have clear objectives consistent with the aims of Living God’s Love.
    - Support ongoing work rather than a one off event.
    - Demonstrate that the potential for working with ecumenical partners has been considered.
    - Show a commitment to paying the parish share.
    - Show how the project will become sustainable once the grant has come to an end.
